Chase is doing well with his broken wrist. He wants to do the things he can do himself and accepts help with the things he can't. He's been in a good mood and seems accepting of the whole thing. Nanaw put the following post on Facebook with two photos of Chase with his cast. "Well, the boy broke his left wrist Saturday evening, slamming into a wall at a hockey evaluation. He has to wear a cast for at least a month, and then they’ll re-evaluate it. So that’s it for soccer, fall baseball, and part of the hockey season. He’s handling it wonderfully – not complaining or feeling sorry for himself and accepting help when he needs it. Go, Chase!" He had his friends sign his cast today so that was fun for him. He had some homework that he did after school He's being very grown-up and organized about homework. Nanaw wishes he would do better with his handwriting. They worked on it over the summer but it doesn't seem to have worked. His printing is still too light, too sprawling and too large. Mama and Brady's mom worked at the Queen of Hearts fundraiser this evening, and Daddy and Chase went up to join her. Hopefully, they went into the Sunset Overlook to get out of this awful heat.
