On the way to school on Monday morning, Chase and Nanaw stopped at his house to pick up his Star Wars hat and gloves because it was colder outside than Mama thought. At first Chase wanted to Nanaw to give the birthday card he made for Mrs. Herrman to her but then he saw the other boys and girls giving the cards the made to her so he did, too. She was very sweet to the boys and girls, giving them hugs and thanking them for the cards. After school, Chase was wearing his elephant headband he made for the letter E, and Nanaw took a picture and sent it to Mama -- E is her favorite letter and elephants are her favorite animal at the zoo. Chase and Nanaw stopped at Chase's house so he could go to the bathroom before they went to the library. At the library, Chase played at the play table with the plastic building blocks. When they got back to Nanaw's house, he played abcmouse on the computer. At home, he was excited to see the one-eyed monster Mama bought for him at Big Lots. He went to rest in the "Gascar" chair, and Mama and Nanaw were concerned about him. He hadn't felt well all day, warm and tired and saying his tummy was full. Nanaw hopes he's okay.
