When Nanaw took Chase to school on Wednesday morning, he asked Nanaw what they were going to do after school. Nanaw gave him a list of things they could do, and Chase chose Powder Valley. Mama asked Nanaw to change him out of his uniform before they went to Powder Valley. So Nanaw took along a shirt and shorts for him to change into. On the way there, they called Mama to give her a drop-off report. Mama and Nanaw were talking, and Chase said, "Stop talking. I want to introduce my new sight words." It was very funny, and Mama and Nanaw enjoyed what the little fellow said. Chase was very happy to be at Powder Valley; he loves going there. When he got out of the car, he said they could take a walk some other time because he was tired. He said hello to Mr. Frog outside, then they went inside and Nanaw changed Chase's clothes in the restroom. They visited all his favorite places: the snakes, the frogs, the tarantula, the puppets, the birdhouse, the bees, the tree-house, the bear, the bugs, and the fish aquarium with the turtle trying to bury himself / herself in the gravel. On the way out, Chase selected a turtle sticker and spelled sticker for the Powder Valley man.
