Chase's teacher Mrs. Herrmann wasn't at school on Friday. She and her family flew to Washington DC to participate in the anti-abortion march. Mrs. Gianino, Sienna's mom, was the teacher for the day. Nanaw parked on the lot across from school in the morning, and that made Chase happy so she decided to go back to parking there all the time instead of on the side street. Chase said he likes the lot better. When Nanaw picked Chase up from school, he was so excited about the key chains that he got to select as part of the magazine drive because his daddy sold magazines for him. He told Nanaw he got to choose 12 key chains. Evidently he could have chosen M&Ms instead of key chains but he was happy to have the key chains because he said he could keep them forever. After school, Chase watched Letter Factory, ate popcorn, played abcya and played with his key chains. Mama and Daddy went to a Happy Hour for Mama's birthday tonight so Nanaw got to keep Chase till 8 o'clock -- Yay! She set the table for dinner, with place mats, napkins and a lighted candle (that the cats kept investigating -- Nanaw was so afraid that the would brush up against it and start their fur on fire. After dinner, Nanaw made a fire and brought her laptop into the living room so Chase could play abcya while he watched Monsters Inc. When Mama texted that they were on their way, Chase and Nanaw had a great time following their progress on Life360.
