Monday was Martin Luther King Day, and Mama and Daddy were off from work, and Chase was off from school. Nanaw spent a lot of the day calling the doctor's office with lots of questions, all of which she finally got answered. At about 1 o'clock, Mama brought Chase over to Nanaw's house for a visit. It snowed a little last night so when Chase got there, he got his bat and ball and went out in the front yard to play what Mama called snow ball -- it was very funny. Then they went inside and Chase showed Mama his Cars Ultimate Speedway that Nanaw gave him for Christmas -- she hadn't seen it yet. The three of them plus Sidney Crosby the Cat had lots of fun playing together and laughing. Mama said she was fixing beef burgundy for dinner so Nanaw invited herself over. After Nanaw went to the cemetery, Walmart and the Post Office, she went over to Chase's house. Uncle Stan came and helped Daddy move the new love seat from the garage to the living room. Chase was extremely happy and excited about the love seat and brought blankets and stuffed animals and toys over to it.
