After Mama dropped Chase off at Nanaw's house Tuesday morning, he went over to the kitchen counter to play with his new slime. He wore his new blue shoes to school today, and Andrew noticed them and asked Chase if he had new shoes. It was very cute. Nanaw loves those boys. Mrs. Hermann asked Nanaw if she was up for painting with the boys and girls on Wednesday, and Nanaw said yes and that she would bring her paint shirt. On the way home from school, Chase fell asleep so he must have had a busy day. Later he told Nanaw he had chef salad for lunch and showed her the picture he worked on and brought home. He said there were zombies, ninjas and Star Wars people. Nanaw thinks he was making that up; Mama said everything looked like penguins. Chase played with his slime for awhile at the kitchen counter, then had popcorn and watched Monsters University. Nanaw repaired Mama's new stuffed elephant that Uncle Mike and Aunt Becky gave her for her birthday. Chase has been sharing him (his name is Harry Elafonte) with Mama; Harry takes turns sleeping with them.
