Mama, Daddy and Chase were off from work and school on Monday for Presidents Day. In the morning, Mama, Chase and Nanaw went to Shoe Carnival to use Mama's 1/2 off coupon to buy shoes for Chase. He got a pair of black and white Nike's, just like Mama and Daddy's -- so they now have family shoes. Next, they went to Walmart. Chase was in a really good mood, and he didn't ask for a toy from Walmart. Mama had already bought him a Valentine Snoopy from Schnuck's. Nanaw went to Chase's house for a delicious dinner of ham and carrots. Before dinner, Chase and Nanaw played his new PlayMobile hockey game, which is really fun. Chase ate lots of ham and carrots for dinner -- he's becoming a really good eater. During the morning adventure, Mama and Nanaw were talking about the carrots they were going to have for dinner, and Chase piped up with, "When are we having pot roast again?" Amazing, coming from Chase. So Mama said they could have pot roast next Sunday before the Oscars. After dinner, Chase and Nanaw downloaded and read a free book on his Kindle fire -- The Little Labradoodle: Puppy Pickup Day. Then they played floor hockey in the living room, and then the PlayMobile Hockey in the kitchen.
