This morning at school, one of the girls in Chase's class gave him a choice of a little pink metal container or a green one. (Nanaw doesn't know what they were -- maybe mints?) But Chase seemed to be embarrassed by the whole thing. He grabbed his folder and water bottle from Nanaw and ran into the classroom. So cute! After school, Chase helped Nanaw water the plants and bushes in the front yard and had a lot of fun doing it. He was very excited to see red strawberries on the strawberry plants that neighbor Dan planted in Nanaw's front yard. Nanaw will have to ask Dan if Chase can pick them or eat them. Chase also played wit his golf clubs out in the front yard, Nanaw wanted him to ride his Big Wheels but he said he would do it another time. Nanaw was happy that she got bonus time with Chase on Friday night, and Chase was happy about the bonus time also. He gave Nanaw an unsolicited, "I love you, Nanaw," and htat was super special. Mama was having dinner with her friend Becky, and Daddy had to work until six. So Nanaw fixed dinner for Chase, and he played on the laptop. When Daddy came to pick Chase up, he was out of the house in a flash -- not his usual dawdling self.
