Chase brought a huge amount of stuffed "amamals" with him on Friday morning. Nanaw hadn't been feeling too well during the night but she was able to take Chase to school in the morning. However, she had to have Mama pick him up from school. Fortunately, Mama was working at home on Friday and was able to pick Chase up easily and have him play while she finished working. When Mama was done, she and Chase came over to Nanaw's house to pick up Chase's stuffed "amamals." He told Mama and Nanaw all about the carnival they'd had at school Friday afternoon, as the conclusion to Builders' Week. Chase said he bought popcorn and soda and played lots of games, including ring toss. Mama suggested that they make a carnival when they got home, and Chase liked that idea. Mama said that Daddy had taken Grandma Pat to the doctor out in Wentzville and that they wouldn't be home for awhile. Mama had errands to run: Dick's for a baseball glove for Daddy's birthday, Dollar Tree for cards and wrapping paper and something for dinner. She asked Chase what he wanted and he said Pizza Hut. So Mama said they would go pick up pizza there and eat at home because Pizza doesn't have a place to eat inside. In the evening, Nanaw texted Mama asking her to send a picture of Chase because Nanaw forgot to take any. So Mama sent a picture of Chase with a rally towel Mama bought at Dick's and a picture of him playing at their carnival downstairs.
