Chase and Nanaw had a quiet day at home. Chase had been so busy the past few days that Nanaw thought it would be good for him to have a non-busy day. He played on the laptop for a long time, then he and Nanaw went downstairs to play. After that, they had school. First Chase read his two books of the day: Love Monster and the Box of Chocolates and The Think About Yetis. Clever Mama sent Chase's stuffed Yeti and stuffed Love Monster along with the books. Chase held the stuffed animals while he was reading the books. Next, Chase did four pages in the fun math book. Nanaw really likes that book and so does Chase. Next, Chase colored the circles in the Columbia library summer reading program book while Nanaw made flashcards for the 5's. Mama picked Chase up at 4:30 to take him to his swimming lessons. She had him put on his swimming gear at Nanaw's house before they left. Later, Mama told Nanaw that the swimming teacher told her that Chase did well. They also loaned him swim goggles. Nanaw said she could go along tomorrow but Mama said it was really hot so Nanaw shouldn't go. The first picture below is of the two Jacks who spent the weekend with Love Hugs.
