Chase went back to school today after his long four-day weekend. When Nanaw picked Chase up, he said his book order had come. He said one of the things in the order was a shark lab. He had Nanaw text Mama to see if it was all right to do the lab at Nanaw’s house. She said yes. One of the things was a growing shark. You put it in a bowl of water and it grows. The other thing was a plastic shark you put baking powder in. Then you put it in a bowl of water and it descends and ascends in the water. Chase and Nanaw had a wonderful time with the shark lab. Daddy came to pick up Chase for pitching practice at five. Nanaw asked Cole’s mom where the practice takes place, and she said I44 and Big Bend.
