On Tuesday morning, Chase asked Alexa what the temperature was, and she said 62 degrees. So Chase decided he'd needed a jacket. Nanaw got out the red jacket in Chase's closet. It was sort of small but the little fellow wore it anyway. The most wonderful thing happened on Tuesday. Chase was one of the students selected as a Terrific Kid for the month. Brady’s mom saw the photo on Facebook and sent it to Mama. When Nanaw picked Chase up from school, he was wearing a Terrific Kid tee shirt, and he had a bag of goodies from the Kiwanis. He told Nanaw he had lots of homework that he didn’t get done in class. He said the Terrific Kid thing took up a lot of his time. Chase and Nanaw did some of Chase’s homework but he still had a lot to do with Mama. Nanaw got Chase home at 4:30 for pitching practice. Mama and Nanaw went to Bath and Body at the mall. Mama bought lots of hand soap and lots of good smelling stuff. She also got a birthday present for Jackson’s mom. Then they went to the store that sells Jack things. Mama bought a Hero pillow for Chase and a Jack Clue game for herself. Mama made macaroni and hamburger in the Instapot for dinner. Everybody liked it and had seconds.
