Chase had a hockey game on Saturday, and his team won 15 to 2, which made him very happy. Yesterday, when Mama and Becca were having their day together, Mama drove over a branch in the road, and it gave her a flat tire. Uncle Stan changed her tire, and Mama took it to Dobbs to get it fixed. It turned out that she needed two new tires, and they kept her car overnight. After the hockey game, Daddy took Mama to Dobbs to pick up her car. In the evening, Uncle Mike and Aunt Becky came over. Nanaw came too, after she got home from the little house. Daddy grilled hamburgers, hot dogs and Italian sausage. Mama made fruit salad and Caesar salad, and Aunt Becky brought her wonderful brownies. They sat out at the WE bar and watched the Cardinals win their game against the Mets, 7 to 2. Their record is now 13 and 14, only one game out of 500. Then they watch some of the hockey playoff games. Chase and Daddy practiced Chase's fielding, with Daddy using a paddle-like thing to hit balls to Chase for him to catch. It was a wonderful evening, that ended with lightning, thunder and rain.
