On Mother's Day, Chase went out to Grandma Pat's for lunch and to wish her a Happy Mother's Day. Aunt Patty gave Chase a wonderful present of six little Paw Patrol books in a suitcase -- very cute. Grandma Pat sent a container of ambrosia salad to Nanaw -- it's Nanaw's favorite and Grandma Pat always sends her some. There was a smaller group than usual at Nanaw's because Nanaw's five older grandchildren were with their mother, and Becky, Nichole and Natalie didn't come. But Daddy, Mama, Chase, Uncle Mike and Nanaw had a good time and good food. Uncle Mike grilled amazing burgers and Mama made party potatoes and a gluten-free chocolate cake. Nanaw got some wonderful presents: a Menard gift card, a rose-aroma Yankee candle, and some delightful Yankee air fresheners.
