Mama gave Nanaw money to go to the bake sale at Chase's school on Friday morning. Nanaw got two kinds of cookies for Chase and a brownie and chocolate chip cookies for Chase. Nanaw also donated $20.00 for the fund raiser. When Chase got home from school, he and Nanaw played baseball together outside for awhile. Then Chase played by himself. When he came in, he played on the laptop and ate two of his cookies. Chase asked Nanaw if she was going to the fish fry tonight, and she said she didn't think so. But when they got to Chase's house, he said, "Please," and Nanaw couldn't say no. Mama suggested that Nanaw drive separately in case she wanted to leave early. So Nanaw decided to do that. She got in her car, and to her surprise, Chase came to ride with her. She was very happy about that. At the fish fry, the boys went to play basketball and run around the basketball court. (The boys are Chase, Brady, Hunter and Mason.) Nanaw and Emma went over to watch the boys play. Chase took off his hoodie and had Nanaw hold it. Then he brought his basketball to her. Nanaw is always his minion. The fish fry was very crowded, and they had to wait a long while for their dinner. They ran out of mac and cheese, and Chase was very sad. But Hunter's mom arranged for Chase to get mac and cheese when they fixed more. Chase scarfed it down when it finally came. Nanaw left before everyone else so Mama was right to have her drive separately.
