Chase was really tired this morning from his busy day yesterday. Mama said when she went to wake him, he was sound asleep, and she had difficulty getting him up. At school, Chase was happy to see that Mrs. Meyer's clock had the correct time; Chase thought it would have the wrong time from the daylight saving time change. Nanaw got her daily hug from Maria. Nanaw also saw Sami in the hall and asked if she got the Helen Keller bookmark from Chase, and Sami said, "Yes, thank you." When Chase got home from school, first he had some of Nanaw's fettuccini Alfredo from last night. Then he had the chocolate pudding pie. He really enjoyed his after-school snack. He asked Nanaw if she liked the birthday card he and Mama made for her. Nanaw said it was her very favorite, and she put it on the shelf between the two Forkies, in a place of honor.
