When Nanaw took Chase to school on Thursday morning, her friend Maria gave her the daily hug, and Sami showed Nanaw her beautiful hair bow. Yesterday, Chase told Nanaw about a game they played at school called gaga ball. Nanaw Googled it, and it's a real thing. There's like a pit with a wall and the kids kick the ball inside. When Nanaw picked Chase up from school, she told him she had some bad news. She told him that the hockey season had been postponed and so had the baseball season. Chase said he might have to say a bad word, but Nanaw said he shouldn't say a bad word. Mama said Uncle Mike and Aunt Becky were still coming over on Friday evening even though there wouldn't be a hockey game to watch. Mama is fixing fettuccini Alfredo, deep fried shrimp, garlic cheese bread, and either toasted cheese ravioli or mozzarella sticks. Nanaw is going to McDonald's to get to get 10 chicken tenders for her and Mama. On the way home, Nanaw told Chase they had to go to the post office before they went home. Nanaw let Chase play with her phone so he didn't fuss about not going straight home. When they got home, Chase played on the computer, then Chase and Nanaw played hockey in the hall.
