Mama had the day off from work on Friday so she took Chase to school. He wore his ugly sweater today. Mama and Nanaw had another Christmas shopping adventure on Friday. They went to Waterloo Walmart, Telegraph Road Walmart, Dollar General, Dollar Tree, the mall (Yankee Candle and the calendar kiosk) and Taco Bell. Taco Bell was Nanaw's favorite because she had a crunch wrap supreme. Mama and Nanaw took their Taco Bell back to Nanaw's house and ate while they watched the recording of SVU. Mama and Nanaw both went to pick Chase up from school. When he came out of school, he was surprised and confused to see both of them there to pick him up. He told them that four of other classmates had ugly sweaters like his: the cat dabbing. Ms. Kennedy took a picture of Chase, with Connor, Sean and one other boy in their sweaters. She told them she would try to get the picture in the yearbook. Chase was very excited about what he called my first picture in the yearbook. When Nanaw took Chase home, they participated in a Facetime happy hour call with Jen, Joe and Jackson. It was great fun. After the call was over, Nanaw took her annual Christmas pictures of Chase for her Christmas cards; he was wearing his ugly sweater and a Santa hat for the pictures.
