Chase played on the computer before school, as usual. He had friends with him: Gobbler, Gobbler Sr., little yellow Thanksgiving duck, Tee Tee and Creeper. Nanaw likes that Chase is so attached to his stuffed animals. When Nanaw picked Chase up from school, she asked if he brought home his AR book, and he said it was heavy book night. He and Mama will study the story, the questions and the vocabulary for the test tomorrow. He also has to study the spelling words; he has to take the spelling test again because the y on his word toy wasn't readable. He also has to study his math multiplication flash cards for a test tomorrow. Nanaw asked where his water bottle was, and he had it tucked in one of the pockets on his backpack. So he had everything he was supposed to. Plus, he bought home his artwork Christmas presents. Nanaw told Mama she wouldn't look at any of them because one was for her. Tonight Nanaw is going to put up her Christmas tree, helped by Uncle Mike and Aunt Becky. First, they go to Home Depot to get the tree. Then they decorate it.
