It was raining, cold and windy when Nanaw picked Chase up from school on Friday. She didn’t ask him about his tests. She let Mama do that on the pickup call. Mama had gotten notified about two grades, and they were pretty good. Mama said she was happy because he had 3 Bs and the rest of his grades were A or A+. On the way home from school, Chase asked Nanaw if they could go to Red Roof to get a Prime drink that William said tasted like Skittles. He wanted more than one but Nanaw said Mama would buy them for him. Chase texted Mama with Nanaw's phone asking her to please go to Red Roof and get more bottles of Prime for him, and she said she would. Chase didn’t have any homework, which made him happy, and meant he could play in the computer. He also played one-man knee hockey, shooting goals into the net, something he likes to do. He's happy about the knee hockey nets and sticks Nanaw got him for Christmas. Mama said to give Chase lots of snacks because he had baseball and hockey practice in the afternoon and evening and it would be after 8 when he got home and without snacks, he would be very hungry. Daddy came to pick Chase up at 4:30.
