Thursday was the first day of Chase's Spring Break. He brought along his tablet, in addition to the guys. He spent a lot of time in the morning playing on Nanaw's new iPad. It has a piano app that he really likes. He played Fur Elise on it. Then he played Fur Elise on the little piano keyboard in the computer lab. That's what he calls the bedroom with two computers, two TVs, a DVD player, a keyboard, and a small Alexa Show. He also played a lot of hockey apps on the iPad. In the past week or so, he's decided he wants cereal for breakfast. Sometimes he chooses what he wants and sometimes he wants Nanaw to surprise him. This morning, he chose Apple Jacks. For lunch, he had pot roast carrots, mega noodle chicken noodle soup, and his leftover Applebee's dinner. After lunch, he interviewed Nanaw for his religion Good Samaritan assignment. Nanaw told him a story about how, long ago, their dog Maggie had gotten out of the backyard, and a man brought her back to Nanaw's house. The man said he had been whistling as he walked past Nanaw's house, and this little dog followed behind him. After a while, he figured he'd better try to find the dog's home so he did. In the afternoon, Nanaw went to a retirement party at Edward Jones so she took Chase home early.
