Nanaw came to visit Chase Saturday morning while Daddy went golfing and Mama went grocery shopping. Mama brought kettle corn for Nanaw from yesterday’s zoo trip, and Nanaw shared it with Chase and Sam, who gobbled it down. Nanaw also left part of it for Mama, since she likes kettle corn almost as much as Nanaw does. Nanaw also gave Chase some of his blue cotton candy from the zoo but Sam didn’t want any. When Mama got home from grocery shopping, she gave Chase some donuts, then Mama, Chase, Sam and Nanaw went for a walk in Chase’s neighborhood. On the way out to Aspenhof, Nanaw stopped at the Washington Goodwill store and bought a new little riding toy for Chase to play with at her house. In the afternoon, Mama. Daddy and Chase went to watch a parade in Fairview Heights with Jackson and his parents. Jackson and Chase rode to the parade in Jackson’s wagon. Chase got lots of candy and beads thrown to him by the parade participants. Mama says she thinks Chase had a grand time at the parade.
