Chase had a major adventure on Saturday, going to the Purina Family Day at Purina Farms in Grey Summit. Uncle Chris works at Purina and he got tickets for Chase, Auntie Alice, Phoebe and Will and their cousins Emily and Luke, Mama, Daddy and Nanaw. After riding on a hay wagon to the main event area, they had a wonderful lunch, including drumstick ice cream cones. Then they went to the area of the rides and everyone but Chase and Nanaw went on the Scrambler, a scary twisty ride. Mama and Nanaw got free kettle corn, then everyone rode the hay wagon back to the show area for the dog show, which was Mama’s favorite. Nanaw left about 2:30 because it was so hot but everyone else stayed another two hours. Mama, Daddy and Chase went home so Chase could nap and they could pick up Sam to go back to Auntie Alice and Uncle Chris’s house for a pizza dinner. Mama says Chase had a good time, running around the back yard again and then running around the house, playing with Phoebe and Will.
