On Friday morning, Chase and Nanaw went to the library so Chase could play on the computer. During his time there, in addition to playing on the computer, he colored and read books and played with the Legos and the magnetic letters – quite a busy library trip. After Chase’s nap, Chase and Nanaw went to Nanaw’s doctor for the surgery follow-up visit. The minute they went into the waiting room, Chase said "iPod?" because he knows he always gets to play with one of Nanaw’s iPods when they go to the doctor. He was very well-behaved during the doctor’s visit, as usual. After the appointment, Chase and Nanaw took a walk around the grounds of the Mercy Hospital because the weather was so nice. When they got home, Chase and Nanaw went downstairs for school and for Chase to play with all of his trains down there. Nanaw was happy to get to keep Chase late on Friday while Mama, Daddy, Aunt Becca, and Uncle Stan went to Fairview Heights to pick up the van for the vacation trip to Florida.
