Chase and Nanaw went for an early morning walk, and then ran errands – to pick up Nanaw’s shoes at the shoe repair shop and to return books to the library. Once again, Chase brought his Thomas pillow over to Nanaw’s house and on the errands. He also watched his Thomas DVD again – he would watch it all day if Nanaw let him. Mama and Chase had an exciting mother/ son adventure in the evening while Daddy golfed. They went shopping at Target and then had pizza at Fortel’s. Mama said Chase was very entertaining at dinner – saying Come in whenever he heard the doorbell sound, saying Hello and Bye to the other diners, putting his hand to his ear for a pretend phone so he could talk to Daddy on the phone and singing Jingle Bells. Nanaw showed Mama a photo of Uncle Mike with a buzz cut because Chase looks so much like him.
