Today was the start of Chase’s exciting summer vacation to Destin, Florida with Mama and Daddy, Aunt Becca and Uncle Stan, and lots of Daddy’s family and friends. On the 13-hour drive to Florida, Chase watched DVDs on the new DVD player Mama bought him for the trip: He watched Peppa Pig, Thomas the Train and Bubble Guppies. Mama said Chase was really good on the trip, and she’s very glad she bought the DVD player. Mama posted on Facebook a picture of Chase getting his first look at the ocean. When they got to the house they rented in Florida, Mama wasn’t feeling well and had to lie down. So Daddy took Chase to the beach to see the ocean, which Chase seemed to really like. He also went in the swimming pool that comes with the house. Mama stayed in the house while Daddy and Chase went to dinner with all the family and friends – there were about 16 of them altogether. Sam is spending the week with Nanaw, and they took a road trip to Aspenhof to pick up the car tags. They also took two walks and a reconnoitering drive to find the Family Arena for Robbie’s graduation ceremony on Sunday.
