Nanaw was excited that she got to baby sit with Chase on Saturday evening while Mama and Daddy took Uncle Chappie out for his birthday celebration. Mama and Daddy dropped Chase off at Nanaw’s a little after 6 p.m. In the morning, Chase and Daddy went to visit Grandma Pat. Chase told Nanaw he got to see the guinea pig and the bunny rabbit named Thumper. Chase didn’t go to church with Daddy at 5 p.m. because Chase was still napping. Chase and Nanaw had lots of fun running around Nanaw’s house flying Chase’s toy airplanes. They also did a lot of vacuuming, which seems to be one of Chase’s favorite things. Chase colored and Chase and Nanaw had story time, reading the Thomas library book, "The Close Shave." On the way to Chase’s house, Nanaw played the Berenstain Bears audiobook she checked out of the library. Chase seemed to be listening to it because when the book mentioned Rudolf, Chase said, "Rudolf the RedNosed Reindeer!" Back at Chase’s house, he watched a little of the movie "Cats and Dogs" and was laughing hard at the kitty cats and puppies. Before bed, nanaw read the Thomas "Stop and Go" book and one of the Berenstain Bears books. Unfortunately, silly Nanaw forgot to take any pictures so she has to use one of Chase’s pictures from the Penney’s photo shoots for today’s Days of Chase.
