Nanaw went to visit Chase on her way home from church, right before his nap. Mama and Daddy said that Chase was in a cranky mood, and he certainly was. Nanaw doesn’t usually see Chase when he’s cranky; he doesn’t get that way when he’s at Nanaw’s house. Everybody played in the living room with Chase, his cars and his garage. Mama put Chase to bed for his nap, and Nanaw came along to hear the bedtime story. Mama read one of the Richard Scarry books to Chase and then promised to sleep next to his bed. Chase still wants his Mama or Daddy to lay down on the floor next to his open bed" when he takes his nap or goes to bed at night. After Chase’s nap, Mama, Daddy and Chase were going to visit Auntie LaLa, Uncle Chris, Phoebe and Will in the afternoon. In the evening, they were going to watch Will at his hockey game.
