Chase’s adventure on Wednesday was a trip to Powder Valley. First, he made his usual visit to the big ceramic frog outside, and Nanaw took his picture. Then, inside he first visited the big snake and then went to the drinking fountain, which seems to be one of his favorite places. He visited the room with the one fish in an aquarium and lots of puppets. Chase and Nanaw went downstairs to see the big aquarium and the bear. He also played with the videos of turkeys, ducks and hunting, turning them on and off - -he seems to like having control over the videos. He stood in front of the bees, singing Itsy Bitsy Spider as the bees climbed up the glass – it was very funny and cute. Chase seems to really love going to Powder Valley and doesn’t seem to be tired of any of the displays and attractions. Nana is going to see if there are any other Missouri Department of Conservation locations they could visit; maybe they could go to Rockwoods Reservation.
