Chase and Nanaw had a fun day on Friday. First, they played with his big basket of little cars, then Chase put Tee Tee in the psychedelic van that belonged to Mama when she was a little girl, and Tee Tee drove the van all over the house. Next, they went to the little park by the Columbia Library. Unfortunately, there weren't any other little boys and girls playing there, which disappointed Chase. So Nanaw played with him on the slides and the monkey bars, and that seemed to help alleviate his disappointment. They had a great time playing and running around the park. After the playground, Chase and Nanaw went to Dollar Tree. Nanaw bought Chase some squishy Ninjas that stick to the wall when you throw them against the wall and some ice cream cones that are really bubble blowers. They blew bubbles when they got back to Nanaw's house. Mama and Daddy picked up Chase and Nanaw at 5 p.m., and they all went to Hooters for dinner. They started out with a tower of onion rings, and Chase had a grilled cheese sandwich and curly fries, and Mama, Daddy and Nanaw had chicken wings. After dinner, Chase went home to swim, and Mama sent Nanaw a picture of Chase in the pool shooting up at bugs over head.
