Chase's big adventure for Tuesday was going to the baseball game in the evening with Mama, Daddy and Nanaw. In the morning, Nanaw wanted to take Chase to Powder Valley but he said "Not today," so they stayed home. Chase found a missing bowl in his room, and Nanaw said she'd have to find a present for Chase. They looked in the coffee table drawer but the only presents in the drawer were sticker books and coloring books, and that wasn't the kind of present Chase wanted. Then he spotted two games in the drawer: Catopoly and Clue. Nanaw gave the games to him, and he was so excited. He spread both games out on the living room floor and co-mingled all the pieces of both games. Then he made up a game using pieces from both games -- it was very cute and very funny. In the afternoon, Uncle Mike came back to finish cutting Nanaw's grass -- he was interrupted by the rain on Monday. Chase and Nanaw went outside with his bat and ball and played a little baseball in preparation for Tuesday night's game. Chase was so, so good at the ball game. He ate almost all of his hot dog, a pretzel and lots of Nanaw's popcorn. It was really hot at the game but the heat didn't seem to bother Chase and Daddy so much but Mama and Nanaw were roasting. Chase got to see fireworks when one of the Cardinal players hit a home run, and that was fun for him. Unfortunately, the Cardinals lost but it was a wonderful, fun time.
