Tuesday's adventure for Chase and Nanaw was a visit to Powder Valley. Chase went to many of his usual displays but was disappointed to see that part of the main floor was blocked off. Evidently, they were working on installing new displays -- an exciting thing but one that Chase didn't understand. He wanted to go see the bees and the other displays that were blocked off. He told Nanaw, "I want it to be back to normal." Nanaw promised him it would be back to normal soon. There were lots of children there from a school tour, and that made Chase happy -- he likes when there are lots of other children around. After visiting the displays, Chase and Nanaw went for a walk on one of the trails. The weather was beautiful, and it was quite an enjoyable walk. There were groups of children on the trail, and Chase seemed to think it was a race and kept saying he wanted to win. He's very competitive in everything he does -- Nanaw isn't sure where that comes from or if it's a good thing.
