On Monday, Chase and Nanaw had an exciting day at the Science Center. Chase really loves going there and has so much fun -- Nanaw thinks it's become his favorite place to go, surpassing the Train House. They stayed for several hours, longer than usual, because Nanaw knew how much Chase enjoyed visiting all the displays. They went to the dinosaur dig, the dinosaur room, the sand area, the colored smoke columns, the roller coaster example, the pretend furnace you throw the pretend coal in, the tables with plastic pieces to build things with, and the sailing ships. Chase spent the most time at the two air ball attractions. He waited patiently for his turn at the table where hoses of air keep the balls in the air. At the other air ball attraction, he played with some little boys from a summer camp. They put together plastic pieces of pipe to create a long tunnel to blow balls through. It was very cute to watch Chase playing with other little boys and working together. In the afternoon, Uncle Mike came to cut grass, and Chase wanted him to come over to his house.
