First thing Wednesday morning, Chase and Nanaw went for a walk in her neighborhood, and Chase visited his favorite bushes. The next adventure of the day was a trip to Grant's View Library for Story Time. However, on the way to the library, there was a traffic jam on Baptist Church Road because of construction, and Story Time had already started. Chase didn't want to go in, so he and Nanaw went to pick out books and videos. Chase selected a large, large, large version of The Hungry Caterpillar book and a My Little Pony video. He refused to select any more books or videos -- he said he only wanted one of each. What a boy! Nanaw will try Story Time again next week. After the library, Chase and Nanaw went to the big park by the high school. Chase was happy to see all the boys and girls there, and he ran around playing with them -- he does like spending time with other boys and girls. He was very happy to watch the My Little Pony video on the way home. In the evening, Chase went shopping at Rural King and Walmart with Mama to buy Father's Day presents for Daddy. Chase got a bag of the free popcorn at Rural King, and Mama says he only gave her two pieces. He gave her the first piece, and when she asked for another piece, he said, "I already gave you one." She said, "Pretty please," and he gave her another piece and said in his Eeyore voice, "Okay." Funny kid. At Walmart, Mama bought Chase some Play Dough pizza; she took a picture of the pizza Chase built when they got home and sent the picture to Nanaw.
