Chase was off from school on Friday for Veterans' Day -- this made Nanaw very happy because she would have more time with Chase. Their Friday adventure was a visit to the Science Center. When they walked into the Science Center, Chase wanted another Science Center map so Nanaw got one for him. Chase did his favorite activities there -- the smoke tunnel, the dinosaur dig, the energy area, the puzzler area, the Grow building, and the coin spinner. He was disappointed because the outdoor water area was closed -- probably because it was too cold outside. He also didn't visit the sand area because it was crowded with kids. The Science Center was very crowded because of schools being off, but Chase could still play with most things. When Chase and Nanaw got home, Chase found some candy in his backpack that Mama sent for him, and he wanted to eat the candy right away. But Nanaw said he had to eat lunch first, and he did. Mama also sent a Dory painting kit, and Nanaw told Chase they would paint when he got up from his night-night nap.
