When Nanaw went to visit Chase on Sunday evening, Mama and Daddy filled her in on Chase's recent activities. On Saturday, Daddy and Chase took Grandma Pat to Home Depot to buy a new washer, and Chase got to see lots and lots of artificial Christmas trees. Mama went to Party City to buy thanksgiving decorations, and she also bought Chase a Chase and Rubble from Paw Patrol and a plastic ball that lights up and makes noises. On Saturday evening, Daddy and Chase went to mass, and they sat with Brady and his family. Unfortunately, Brady and Chase were not well-behaved. Nanaw asked Chase about it, and Chase told her, "I was a bad boy." Daddy said they talked and talked, and Brady didn't use his inside voice, although Chase did. On Saturday night, Mama, Daddy and Chase had another fire in the fireplace. Mama said Chase has been doing a new trick with her. Whe they're playing a game or just playing together and Chase doesn't get his way, he makes a pouty face and says, "I guess I just won't play anymore," and walks away. Nanaw stayed for a delicious pot roast dinner, along with gluten-free cornbread and fruit salad., After dinner, Mama, Daddy, Chase and Nanaw played checkers with the new checkers game Nanaw bought for Chase at Menards. Chase also played hide and seek with Mama and Daddy while Nanaw was there. When Nanaw left, Chase and Daddy were playing a vigorous game of kick in the kitchen.
