Nanaw had her eye doctor appointment on Friday and bought a new pair of glasses that will supposedly give her better distance and close-up vision -- we'll see if that's true. When Nanaw picked Chase up at school, he was wearing a Storm Trooper mask -- all of the boys and girls were wearing a variety of superhero masks. It turns out that the masks were promoting a superhero camp that the school is holding June 26 to 30. Chase is going to go, says Mama and Daddy. After school, Chase and Nanaw went to Powder Valley. They hadn't visited in a long time, and Chase was delighted to be there and see all his favorite things. He wanted to walk on the trail but it was still a little chilly. When they left, Chase got a snake sticker to wear -- snakes are Nanaw's least favorite animal -- or "amamal" as Chase calls them. Mama and Daddy didn't go out to dinner on Friday evening because they were planning to go out to dinner Saturday night for baby Jackson Chapman's second birthday.
