Happy Birthday to Nanaw! Mama took the day off to spend Nanaw's birthday with her. Nanaw took Chase to school because Mama had an 8 o'clock dentist appointment. Then Mama and Nanaw went to the library to get books for Mama and then they went shopping. They went purse shopping for Mama at Macy's; Mama also bought a pair of gold clip earrings for Nanaw. Then they went to Costco where they bought a huge cheesecake for Nanaw's birthday celebration. Next, they went to Walmart to buy a red microwave for Nanaw's birthday present. Then it was time for lunch. They went to Gianino's on Telegraph Road. Mama had sausage and mushroom pizza and a house salad, and Nanaw had a Caesar salad with extra Provel cheese. Nanaw picked Chase up from school, and they ran into Mama and Daddy on the parking lot -- they were going to meet with Ms. Carrow for Chase's kindergarten review. Ms. Carrow says he's ready for kindergarten, although he still has to pass the official test at the beginning of April. In the evening, everyone (Mama, Daddy, Chase, Nanaw, Uncle Mike, cousin Mike, cousin Joe, cousin Robbie and cousin Lindsey) all went to dinner for Nanaw's birthday at Applebee's in Waterloo. Then it was back to Nanaw's house for cheesecake and ice cream. Mama bought Nanaw a rose scented candle with a picture of Chase on it and some craft kits for Chase and Nanaw to do. Uncle Mike and the grandchildren gave Nanaw a really neat light-up barn. It was a wonderful birthday.
