Chase and Nanaw had school downstairs in the school room again Thursday morning. Interestingly enough, it was Chase's idea again. Nanaw is happy that he likes school-related things. They said the pledge of allegiance at Chase's suggestion. Chase read a dinosaur book and did the reading paragraph about crocodiles. Once again, he was delighted to check his answers in the answer key in the back of the book. He did five addition flash cards, and Nanaw got out two more workbooks for him: an addition workbook and a spelling workbook. Chase and Nanaw also colored lots of pictures; then Chase hung them up around the school room so that they could do "write the room" -- an activity Chase did in kindergarten. When the cleaning ladies got here, Nanaw and Chase went to run errands. First, they went to the bank where Chase got his regular sucker. Next, they went to the library. Chase made friends with a little blond girl named Quinn. Quinn's mom said she'll start kindergarten in August at Mosaic, a special elementary school in the Mehlville school district that teaches projects and computers. When they got home, Chase played on the computer for awhile, till Uncle Mike came to cut the grass. In the evening, Chase, Mama and Daddy went to a Grizzlies baseball game with Uncle Joe, Aunt Jen and Jackson.
