Nanaw saw Chase twice on Sunday. The first time was about four in the afternoon when she brought Sam home. Nanaw knew that Mama was missing her puppy love so she wanted to get Sam home as soon as she could. Then Nanaw came back to Chase's house at 5:30 for dinner. Before dinner, Chase and Nanaw played hockey in the hall. They started out with the long sticks but Nanaw always feels those are dangerous so they switched to the short sticks, and Nanaw felt much better about that. Next, they read one of the stories in Chase's big Thomas book. Then it was time for dinner. Chase had a cheeseburger and corn. Amazingly enough, he ate all of the cheeseburger and most of the corn. It seems like he might be eating better than he used to. Nanaw hopes so. After dinner, they read another story in the Thomas book. After Nanaw left, Mama, Daddy and Chase were going to the ice cream store because today is National Ice Cream Day. Nanaw didn't go because she was doing her low-carb thing today.
