On Thursday, Chase and Nanaw went to Walmart first thing to get an oil change and do grocery shopping. Chase got more presents: another ROBLOX figure, a Batman Hot Wheels car, a bag of Jolly Ranchers and a bag of red, white and blue marshmallows. They had fun, and Chase was very good except for saying he wanted to do what he wanted to do. He fell asleep on the way home, probably from being up late last night and from all his running around last night on the baseball field. I told Mama, and she and Nanaw laughed, saying they did too. Chase and Nanaw played in his room and watched Chase TV. He had another mini pizza for lunch with extra pepperoni and mozzarella. They had school at the dining room table (Nanaw thinks this might be the best place to do it from now on). Chase read one of the Biscuit stories, did addition flash cards and did pages in four of his workbooks. That was probably the most school they've done since summer vacation started. Nanaw had him take a nap after they were finished with school. In the evening, Chase went to hockey practice and invited Nanaw to go along so she did. He kept falling on the ice again but he seems to be getting the hang of skating a little better and is happier about playing real ice hockey.
