Mama had the day off from work on Friday so she took Chase to school. But Nanaw got to pick him up from school and keep him till 5 -- yay! When Nanaw picked him up, he told her about a new thing the did in school today. They learned about a website called Seussville and that's what Chase wanted to play with on the computer. Mrs. Neff sent information about it and about Dr. Seuss in this week's newsletter. Tomorrow is Dr. Seuss's birthday. In class, the boys and girls made books about Dr. Seuss, and Chase was very proud of it. He also watched hockey videos on the laptop. In the evening, Nanaw went over to Chase's house for a delicious dinner of chili and gluten-free cornbread. Then Mama and Nanaw watched a movie -- A Star Is Born -- in the living room, and both of them ended up in tears. Daddy and Chase played hockey downstairs for a long time, and they also played in his room.
