Saturday was Chase's last soccer game of the season, and he scored two goals! Yay! He was so happy about it He was really playing better as the season progressed. In the evening, Mama and Daddy had a Mardi Gras party. Chase was very excited about it because his friends were coming: Little Will and the two Jacksons. The boys played together all evening, and it was very cute for Nanaw to watch. They played a lot of hockey, all over the house, and they also played hockey video games. They had Mardi Gras masks, and moustache straws -- very funny. Mama had all kinds of delicious food. She made jambalaya, gumbo, cheesy crescent smokies, and lots of dips. There was also a Mardi Gras cookie and a Mardi Gras cake -- all yummy. Tyler had an escape episode but got scared and ran back into the house. Then someone left the back door open, and everyone thought Tyler had escaped again, but Nanaw found him lying on a kitchen chair, covered by the tablecloth.
