Neither Nanaw nor Chase went to church on Sunday because of the snow. In the afternoon, Mama, Daddy and Chase came over to Nanaw's house so Daddy could shovel the snow and so Nanaw could visit with her buddy Chase. Chase had on his snow boots and snow pants so Nanaw thought he would play in the snow at her house but he didn't. Instead, he took off his boots and came and lay down on the couch. He kept his hat, his coat and his snow pants on. Nanaw got his pillows and his blanket and Mama tucked him in like a burrito. Nanaw also got Love Hugs for him, and they cuddled together. When Daddy finished shoveling the driveway and came inside, Chase took everyone back to the "computer lab" so he could show them Seussville, the website Mrs. Neff told them about on Friday. Chase played with that for awhile. Then it was time for everyone to go home. Chase was going to take Love Hugs home with him for a sleepover but forgot so Love Hugs stayed with Nanaw. Chase has the day off from school tomorrow so he and Nanaw are going to the Science Center. Nanaw also plans on doing some straightening up downstairs and in Chase's room.
