Today was Chase's Field Day at school, and he was very excited about it. Mama had the day off from work so she took Chase to school. When Nanaw picked him up from school, he told her all about Field Day. He said they played kickball and did other games. Nanaw asked him if he wanted to go to his house to get some of the guys, but he said he didn't need to. At Nanaw's house, Nanaw gave him some of the spaghetti she made last night. At first, he thought he liked it but then decided he didn't because it had onions in it. Nanaw talked to Mama later about it, and she said she no longer puts onions in her spaghetti. Chase was excited about going to the parish picnic on Friday night. There weren't any games for kids but the bounce houses would be up and available for playing in. Nanaw might go to the picnic on Monday.
