Chase was excited about the after-school adventure he and Nanaw were going to have on Wednesday afternoon. It was early dismissal at 2 p.m. today at Chase's school. Chase and Nanaw were planning to go to the Magic House after school. When Nanaw picked up Chase, he said they had to stop by Nanaw's house so he could go to the bathroom. Nanaw renewed her Magic House membership; it was member appreciation week so Chase and Nanaw got a Magic House water bottle and an extra month on her membership. The Magic House wasn't very crowded at all, which made Chase very happy. He never likes places when they're crowded. When they first got there, Chase went into the science lab, one of his favorite places. Then they went into the area of the big colored balls that play music. Then they colored pictures of trucks and airplanes and put them up on the wall. The monster came and they got to attach him with airplanes and rockets. Chase played in the fishing area -- he had it all to himself. He sent Nanaw down to the pond with the fish he caught. He played in the auto repair area. Chase and Nanaw spent a lot of time in the grocery store; Chase really likes that. He spent a lot of time with the Lego race car area. Before they left, Chase wanted to visit the water park. The sign said it was open but the doors were locked. Later in the evening, Mama sent Nanaw a text saying Chase's team won their soccer game, 5 to 4. Also, Daddy made Chase rewrite his homework because it was illegible.
