Chase is usually such a sweetheart (with rare exceptions like yesterday's hand sanitizer issue). Nanaw loves him so much and is so happy that she gets to spend so much time with him. Nanaw found Puppy Love hidden in the penguin blanket and sent Mama a picture of him, saying he had a sleepover with Nanaw. When Nanaw picked Chase up from school, she asked him if he knew what his grade was on his spelling test but he said he didn't. So Nanaw told him he got 20 out of 20. He was very happy about that. He had a bag with his Field Day tee shirt for tomorrow, and he tried it on and kept it on. When they got to Nanaw's house, the cleaning lady was still there so Nanaw decided to go to the subdivision's little playground for awhile till she left. Chase protested, saying he didn't want to go. He refused to get out of the car, and Nanaw said he had to. He examined the playground and decided he liked it and had Nanaw time him on a Ninja course and on laps around the playground. As they were leaving, Chase said "At first I was negative about the playground but I had fun." In the evening, Mama, Daddy and Chase went to Costco to get food and stuff for the Labor Party on Sunday. They were going to the Culver's drive-through for dinner, and Chase was going to have ice cream for dinner.
