On Tuesday morning, Chase brought with him the new stuffed dog that Mama bought at the country store yesterday at the parish picnic. When Nanaw picked Chase up from school, he started talking about how the kids like him. Then he said even the mean kids like him. It was very funny. He also said he had homework. He had to finish his social studies work. He said he and AJ worked together and sort of messed around and that's why he didn't get done. The homework was to look up some of our founding fathers on the Google Chromebook and write sentences about them on the homework paper. Nanaw checked his homework and he seemed to have done a good job. Mama wasn't there when Nanaw took Chase home. She was having dinner with Uncle Stan at Washy's to work on plans for Aunt Becca's 40th birthday party on September 25. Chase is going to have a sleepover with Nanaw that night. Yay!
