Nanaw is very happy that Chase has been in a really good mood since he returned from Camp O. He's been very nice and loving toward Nanaw and hasn't given her any attitude or disrespect. Nanaw hopes it will continue forever. Chase is still delighted with his new hairstyle and takes every opportunity to look at himself in the mirror. When Nanaw picked Chase up from school on Friday, she had him go back into the school to the office and return his cross-country uniform. He said he had math and science homework but that he could do it later during the weekend. He also said he took the AR test for his Land of Stories book even though he hadn't finished the book. He said he got 11 out of 19 questions right or 6 out of 11; he wasn't quite sure which number was right. He seems to think that he's 167% of his goal. Nanaw used to be able to look at his AR scores online but the school has removed external access to the scores. Chase was very excited that his friend Jackson and his parents were coming to visit on Friday evening. Nanaw was going to visit with them too. Jackson and Chase had a great time playing baseball out in the backyard and then knee hockey downstairs. They also played with Chase's stuffed animals on his bed. Nanaw brought along her Uno machine but the boys didn't want to play. For dinner, they had Pizza Hut pizza and breadsticks. For dessert, Mama had made brownies.
