Chase and Daddy went to church on Sunday morning. Then Mama and Daddy brought Chase over to Nanaw’s house. They were going to the Cardinals last home game of the season. At the game, the Cardinals gave away a canvas print of Molina and Pujols with their backs turned, walking off the field. There was also a retirement ceremony for them before the game. Uncle Mike and Aunt Becky were there also. Chase and Nanaw went off on their adventure to Ozarkland. Nanaw wanted to also take Chase to the pumpkin play area on 147 but he sort of meanly said he didn’t want to go because he was too old. When they got to Ozarkland, Chase told Nanaw he was sorry he was mean to her and that he did want to go to the play area. Ozarkland didn’t have any mood rings and Nanaw forgot to buy fudge for Mama. Chase picked out a bag of candy from the bins with all of his favorites and also got three bouncy balls. Next they went to the pumpkin play area. Chase headed for the stock tanks filled with corn kernels and spent his whole time there. He had a great time there and made friends with a girl who was also 10 years old. He buried himself in corn and threw kernels up in the air. It was a good time and turned out well. Mama and Daddy got back from the ballgame a little bit after Chase and Nanaw got back to Nanaw’s house. Mama and Daddy got two of the canvas prints and gave one to Nanaw. What a great day everyone had!
